Caitlin Abraham

Broadway · Carolina Ballet · Fosse Workshop

A Broadway and international ballet artist whose stage credits span Wheeldon, Robbins, and Balanchine — and who now teaches at the Ailey Extension, Joffrey Ballet School, and NYC Dance Alliance.

"The room I want to teach in is the one I wish I'd had — precise, generous, and honest about the work."

In the studio

Caitlin's Broadway credits include An American in Paris (Dir/Chor Christopher Wheeldon) and La Cage aux Folles (Dir. Terry Johnson), plus the national tour of Chicago the Musical.

Other favorites include An American in Paris at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris and On The Town at Paper Mill Playhouse. Before musical theater, she was a Soloist at Carolina Ballet — performing roles by Balanchine, Robbins, Limón, and Taylor-Corbett.

She teaches at the Ailey Extension, Joffrey Ballet School, and NYC Dance Alliance, and brings that combined Broadway-and-ballet vocabulary into every class at the King Centre.
